Using avocado's in a brownie recipe might sound a little strange, but these are so good - I'm confident you will love them!
1 large avocado
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
1/3 cup coconut or almond flour
1/3 cup chocolate protein powder
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
Warning: these are delicious.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a blender or food processor combine avocado, applesauce, maple syrup and vanilla. Add these blended ingredients to a large bowl and whisk in eggs.
3. Add coconut flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda and stir until well-combined.
4. Grease an 8 x 8 inch baking dish with coconut oil, add batter, and bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool and enjoy!
